This year's spring conference season was our best yet. Traveling from coast to coast, our team members learned a great deal about upcoming trends in the industry and made lasting connections along the way.
This year's SCOPE Summit taught us about the future of clinical trials. While research professionals are looking to improve the clinical trial management process, there are many variables still being considered. Finding a solution to increase patient participation and retention in studies is at the top of the list, yet, we find ourselves still spread thin and cutting corners to reduce costs. Through our partnerships with various sponsors and CROs, we know they value patient-centricity even more when evaluating feasibility questionnaires and site selection.
World Vaccine Congress
At the World Vaccine Congress, our team learned more about upcoming vaccine trials and opportunities for our study sites.
"This is currently the best vaccine meeting in the world, as it combines basic science, clinical product development and regulatory affairs issues with incredible networking." -President & CSO of Epito Genesis Inc
Next up was ACRP, where we encouraged clinical research professionals to share how they "Make Their Mark on Research"! Vice President Scott Palmese also presented our Lunch & Learn, “Pros & Cons of Site Outsourcing Strategies and Services,” and received positive feedback!
The BTC Network team also presented at MAGI East in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We saw some great innovations in technology for clinical research sites to optimize their CTMS system using RealTime, and even caught a Phillies game!
The 2017 ASCP Annual Meeting included representatives from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and sponsors. The ClinEdge team was busy scheduling meetings and meeting new faces during the conference.
The last stop on Spring Conference tour was DIA. DIA is the largest global interdisciplinary event that brings together key thought leaders and innovators from industry, academia, regulatory and government agencies, health, patient, and philanthropic organizations from around the globe – and across all disciplines involved in the discovery, development, and life cycle management of health care products.
Send us a message if you would like to connect at a future conference!
