Patient- and Site-Centric Services: A Novel Approach to Conducting Clinical Studies

This webinar was recorded on November 8, 2018.

Clinical research is becoming more and more challenging - from the tightening up of inclusion/exclusion criteria, to the competitive nature of site selection in a saturated market, patient recruitment is always the number one obstacle to a successful study. In this webinar, we discussed a novel way of looking at the clinical research process through patient- and site-centricity. We talked about some unique strategies, all focused and tailored towards meeting either the patient or the site where they are in order to boost enrollment, and ultimately, the number of successfully completed research studies.

Some points we discussed included:

- Identification of current challenges to successful completion of clinical studies;
- Potential patient- and site-centered solutions to those challenges, including customized recruitment and retention strategies and novel site selection strategies; and
- Ways that sponsors and CROs can orient themselves to best address the challenges and take advantage of some of the solutions presented.
