Effective Strategies for Successful Enrollment: Opinions from the Trenches

This webinar was recorded on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018.

Considering all that takes place at a clinical research site on a daily basis, it is common for situations to arise that cause a lag between lead outreach attempts. As a result, interested potential patients are often not contacted in a timely manner and there is a reciprocal delay in their response. This delay in outreach efforts has an overall negative impact on trial recruitment and enrollment.

In this webinar, two of our Senior Enrollment Specialists provided a firsthand overview of effective strategies used by enrollment teams to curb this lapse in communication. They explained how to facilitate streamlined communication and help reassure a less confident patient about the risks and benefits of participating in a clinical trial.

The webinar touched on the following points:

  • How to centralize calls and/or incorporate an Enrollment Specialist serving as the POC and an extension of the site team to increase connection rates;
  • How to effectively establish rapport with potential patients;
  • How to approach recruitment and enrollment challenges with a patient-centric mentality;
  • Why using both readily available metrics and direct patient feedback can help you to identify study trends and predict future feasibility;
  • How database optimization reduces the burden on site staff and has the potential to increase site revenue; and the importance of community outreach and recognition.
